WHAT
Exit Planning Institute® created DriveValue.com™ as a resource for business owners, business leaders, and the next generation of owners. The DriveValue.com platform gives these owners and leaders exposure to the Value Acceleration Methodology™ through free introductory education and resources in online and in-person formats while introducing them to the advisors who guide the owner and their teams through the process, the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®).
WHO
DriveValue.com serves the privately held company and business owner with revenue from $1 million to $ 150 million. The platform also serves the internal team that influences and impacts the business owner, including people such as the company’s executive team and the owner's family.
HOW
Through educational content, courses, programs, and events, DriveValue.com teaches the owner and key leaders who surround,
inform, and influence them how to drive value into their company, 5 - 10x their wealth, unlock it, and align business, personal, and financial goals. The platform can be used as a direct educational tool for the business owner, while being used as a business and leadership development platform for surrounding executives and influencers.
WHY
In today’s American business landscape, the business owner has a mindset of building a successful company. A company that performs each year, with steady, reasonable growth, great employees, loyal customers, a meaningful product or service, strong balance sheets, and profitable annual revenue and performance. Though all these are elements of a successful company, these elements do not necessarily guarantee a significant company. A significant company is one that is highly valuable, transferable, ready, and attractive, that is aligned to the business owner’s business, personal, and financial goals. A paradigm shift is required to achieve significance. That paradigm shift begins by embracing the 11 actions an owner must take to rapidly grow value and unlock wealth.
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT? Today, 70% of the companies put on the market will not sell or sell for much less than the owner needs. In addition, 75% of owners profoundly regret selling their business just a year after selling it. And lastly, only about 20% of family-owned companies will be successful in their transition to the next generation.
The 2023 National State of Owner Readiness™ Survey shows us that privately held owners of these privately held companies want to exit or transition in the near future.

DriveValue.com debuted its online platform on February 24, 2025. The platform includes podcasts, whitepapers, assessments, and educational courses designed to help business owners understand and begin embracing the Value Acceleration Methodology™.
As part of its vision, DriveValue.com is committed to partnering with and sponsoring sporting events and professional leagues where business owners gather for entertainment. In 2025, DriveValue.com partnered with Legacy Motor Club™, a professional racing team with a fan base that includes 9.7 million business owners. On March 19, 2025, the Cup Series DriveValue.com #42 Legacy Motor Club car was unveiled to the public.
The week of May 26, 2025, marks DriveValue.com Week in America, a dedicated celebration of business owners and the importance of building significant companies.

• On May 29, 2025, the Exit Planning Institute will launch the EPINashville Chapter and debut the results of the 2025 State of Owner Readiness Survey – Tennessee.
• On May 31, 2025, DriveValue.com will launch “Trackside Education”, a live mini-series of educational events hosted at the DriveValue.com hospitality footprint at Nashville Superspeedway.
• On June 1, 2025, the Cup Series DriveValue.com #42 Legacy Motor Club car will hit the track at 2025 Nashville Superspeedway Cup Race.
Looking ahead, DriveValue.com Regional Summits will debut on October 1, 2025, launching a coast-to-coast educational series. These symposium-style, in-person events will bring business owners and their teams together to learn about the process and approach of building a significant company through the Value Acceleration Methodology™
