MATTHEW TODD
As a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®), Matthew Todd is equipped with the training, skills, and tools needed to strengthen relationships with business owners and serve as their most trusted advisor.
Through the knowledge learned in the credentialing program, CEPAs® holistically plan for an owner’s life outside of their business while successfully building significant value in their organization prior to their exit. Not only will a CEPA® help you effectively transition your business, but will also advise you on personal and personal financial matters.

Matt spent over 38 years in the HVAC industry, gaining experience in design, installation and maintenance. Matt was a leader in a small business for over 25 years and small business owner for the last 20 years in multiple ventures. He was able to help his design/build mechanical business grow from the single office, local shop of 17 that it was when he joined, to a mid-sized regional entity of nearly 75 employees upon retirement from that entity.
Matt served boards both regionally and nationally for Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) and Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), ESOP’s and The Rotary Foundation . Matt holds a bachelors degree in Agricultural Engineering from Washington State University and a masters degree in Biblical Studies from Multnomah Biblical Seminary.
His current passion is Business as Mission and Certified Exit Planning. He gained his CEPA credentials in 2026 and is fostering great business strategy in concert with the EOS Proven process to help small to medium sized businesses get what they want our of their enterprise.
